To-day, Vadilal is a name familiar in practically every Indian household. A well-known umbrella brand, covering a diverse range of products and activities, which have one thing in common : a vibrant present and a bright future.

What started as a one-man show with a hand-cranked Ice Cream maker in a small retail outlet, has today grown to employ over 500 people.

What started with earnings that could easily fit into a pocket, has today risen to an annual turnover of Rs.2,000 million (US$.45 million), of which around 20% is contributed by the exports.

What started as a parlour with home-made Ice Cream, has today branched out to include Processed Foods, Chemicals and Speciality Gases, Construction and Real Estate, FOREX Advisory Services …

VADILAL INDUSTRIES LIMITED

This is our Flagship Company that started with Ice Creams, which are manufactured at our three plants in India, located at Ahmedabad and Pundhra (Gujarat) and Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh). In the early nineties we commenced food processing operations at Dharampur, in South Gujarat. All products under these categories contain purely vegetarian ingredients.

An excellent product would be of little use if it did not have somebody to maintain that excellence and give it to the world. That is how, Vadilal Enterprises - the marketing arm of Vadilal Industries came into existence.
